1:18 scale collection

Post by jackalope »

Ok guys I've been in talks with a gentleman who has recently retired from the service and has amassed a VERY LARGE collection of 21st Century vehicles, men and aircraft. He's moving and he's looking to part with the majority of his things because he just no longer has any place to keep it.

Now he's working on getting me pictures and prices for his stuff, he's not giving it away, everything is being sold at competitive prices that if you were to look on ebay you'll see his pricing is in line with what the going rate for the things. Most of his collection is still brand new in the box and never opened, some is and he prices accordingly.

I have purchased many items from him and have been working on this for almost 2 months for the forum and it's members to get first dibs on his collection. He has quite a lot going on so I'm not 100% sure when I'll be receiving the pictures and prices but if you all are interested I'll post up what he had.

He is not a vendor, the things he is selling are from His private collection and have been out of production since around 2000.

As of now it looks like the sales will be done through Etsy which allows for easy payment and tracking information.

If anyone has any questions about this please feel free to ask.

I wanted to make a post to see if there was any interest in this collection of stuff. I know a few members have expressed interest but I'm trying to better gauge how the rest of the members feel.

Are you any closer to posting pictures for the membership mate ?
Sounds like he has a real fine collection that we should get in on if the shipping doesn't kill it !!
