Tamiya Panzer IV

Post by jtracks »

I've purchased a Tamiya Panzer IV and just tested the electronics before assembly. I've noticed that there is no turret traverse or barrel elevation/depression sound when I activate those two functions. My other Tamiya tanks do have these sounds. So I am wondering if those of you with Tamiya Panzer IV's are finding the same or do I have some faulty electronics. Everything works fine. There is engine noise, machine gun and cannon sound along with the flash. The engine sound also changes when the tank takes a hit.

It has not turret transverse sound due that it is a late model and had no turret transverse motor. Notice your tank has not the small exhaust next to the big one like the heng long does. Maybe it is the same with the barrel elevation, I dont remember now.

In my opinion, i'd sell that electron;cs and Id install a ibu or something similar.

Correct - no traverse or elevation sounds due to it being a late war panzer IV. I too was puzzled by this but makes sense if no turret motor on the back.
