A nice video of the new model. Ok, so it's the L 48 version, not the L 70 version.....for now!
Hope you can get the video to play. I had trouble with it. But, if you can, it's worth it.

Nothing to stop us putting the panther gun in her

I like that they made the hull with three return rollers, and that they made the earlier tubular idler, (instead of the late one with the incorrectly-aligned spokes as on their Pz IV). I'd like to have seen the late roadwheels with the steel tires on the first bogie to give us a couple of options. Still, I am very glad that they are willing to release ANYTHING new!

The video is a scratch build not the latest tamiya offering.
I look forward to hearing/seeing what it's like.

I'm in. I wonder what they (Tamiya) will use for sounds, Panzer IV? How about the out of gear feature like the JS-2 and Pershing.

The video is here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-nA9X0 ... e=youtu.be
As you can see its taken at a Toy Show and the stick-on zimmerit looks pretty good for this scale.
It was posted on another thread but that turned into an argument about the relative merits of Tamiya.
As fas I am concerned any new tank in this scale is good news.
