D,nile  The goldfish on the bookcase has started crying now, you should be ashamed of yourself, You of all people should be welcoming new members not driving them to drink, :haha: :haha:
Tank Commander Welcome to the Forum    (like that Herman)
Where in the world are you based, Not being nosey, it helps us to help you if we know where you are as we have a worldwide membership,
If you are planning to buy anything on line I would suggest you go to the Blacklist ( Click on FORUM and Scroll down the Menu.) Read it and take note of these people, They are BAD People which we found the hard way.
Immediately above is the RECOMMENDED VENDORS list we shop here and you can safely do the same.
Ask all the questions you can think of, yes even the most obvious ones. If you don't know the answer we probably do and we won't be pointing the finger because we have all of us been there before. :lolno:
Ignorance is not bliss its a ruined Tank and wasted money.

Tank Commander,
There is a Tank Club in Royal Tunbridge Wells which meets at the Salvation Army Hall in Royal Tunbridge Wells once a month,
If you talk to "AD-LAV" or "SCALAWAG" (Both of them are members of this Forum amongst others :haha: ) they will I am sure offer a warm welcome should you wish to visit.

A warm welcome to you, lots of friendly, civilised folk here (D'Nile....did I really just read that in a welcome thread???).

If you haven't bought a tank yet take my advice and ask on here before you part with your cash, they are all 1/16 scale, but come with a confusing array of optional extras, some are bargains, but some aren't. If you are close to a club, you have a head start on many!

Tough love it may seem , but all of us are well and truely recidivist offenders when it comes to tanks !!
I even got slammed by the Mrs recently when I mumbled "this damn tank, I'm not doing another one after this"
A plain and direct "bullshit you won't" was the subtle reply !!!
Ahh, gotta love her :haha:
