Hi was just wondering if anyone had purchased and built a model from Ludwig?
They look really good kits - did you buy a cheap donor tank (ie HL) or just the bits required to make it RC?

Churchill looks great and is a favourite of mine.

Any build links would be appreciated.

Just used the 'search' function and found some great builds.
They do look like quality kits - not sure if I have knowledge to fit all electronics etc from scratch, but prob worth the steep learning curve.

I did couple of his now, started with the Comet and just put together his E-100. Not quite a build thread but some interior shots of the Comet anyway.

I am considering his Churchill right now also. I would say that because it is styrene sheet based it works great for some tanks, not so great for others like cast hull and stuff. Also, virtually no detail parts to speak off so you willhave to scratch build or be creative about details.

Thanks for that and I second all the positive comments you got then - looks excellent. (Also building backdrop was great).
I think its all the 'not included, make up yourself bits' I would be worried about - but it is just so tempting to have a good looking British tank.

Mark, Hi, It is worthwhile remembering that both American, and German Tank fixtures and fittings were common to most types which means a quick trawl through both aftermarket upgrades and reference Photographs will identify a lot of what you might need is available already whilst being sold for another model.
I am reminded of British Armour both tracked as well as wheeled and some soft skinned vehicles from the 50s to the 70s almost all of which shared engine and gearbox parts within the B-40/B-80 range, For instance a Piston or a Distributer cap for a 4 cylinder Austin Champ 1/4 tonne General Purpose vehicle engine would fit an 8 cylinder engined Saladin or Saracen armoured vehicle Indeed virtually every gearbox and engine part was inter- changeable except engine blocks and gearbox casings

Interesting to see several Russian resin conversion kits looking much sharper than several I've seen on E-Bay..... Nice site, but could prove very expensive!
