Post by titan.26 »

Well guys i almost pushed the button on the arkmodel website this morning to buy an abrams ,ive really wanted to build an m1 for a very long time and the hooben kit looks to be very nice, well i geuss..lol,not very many internal pictures and then i have to part out transmissions ,electronics ,and everything else under the sun to get a complete kit ,but it would be worth it if the kit is in good order,i dont know maybee ill just wait for an metal chassied imex abrams to hit the market.any thoughts or suggestions would be nice, what do you guys think?

I wish you luck with a metal hull from "IMEX" I just wish that someone would produce a "DECENT, WELL BUILT, RELIABLE" Panzer 4 metal hull. :lolno:
A false start a couple of years back appears to have queered the pitch for other makers which makes it our loss,
A pity because just about everyone who builds a PZ4 has trouble with the suspension and yet the body is a delight with so many variant's, upgrades and modifications to chase.
A metal hull with the rollers actually properly positioned rather than having to do it ones self and provision for a 3 roller set up for a late model PZ4 would be ideal,
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Why not get the Tamiya one? Several people have built it up from parts

Tom Thank you,
A question, Axels are selling TAMIYA PZ4 "k" "J" HULLs number "56026" for EURO 50.08 but that cannot possibly be metal right ? And if not How much would you expect to pay for a metal TAMIYA PZ4 HULL ?
And where would you go looking for one ?
Shaun.

The pz4 is a very attractive kit and for the price i would get a complete tank minus the tx,i think maybee i should just get another tamiya kit until someone makes a really good complete m1 abrams ,i wonder how big the pz4 is in comparison to a king tiger

That's just the aluminium tub, your best bet is to download the manual, and have a look what part codes are required then have a look on Jason's store
