There were actually track link holders in the mid and late production Tigers. Not sure were you can buy them but I'm sure someone will know. I got some plastic ones I used off a old taigen wreck I bought on EBAY.

Hi,
"SCHUMO" sell or sold (I havn't seen them around for a while) a complete set of working spare track holders complete with spare metal tracks and track pins the set includes a stencil that you cut out and use to fix the holders in exactly the right position both top and bottom on the turret which means that the tracks simply clip in place,
This is for the Tiger 1.
They were fitted from April 1943, initially there were 5 spare track holders on the left and 2 on the right side of the turret but later on there were changes in the numbers fitted on each side.
Shaun.

Re: track links on Tiger turret
i connected mine with straightened large paper clips ! Works great on working tracks too ! Remember these pins use to bend as well as break in real time. I fit them together, locate where they are going and drill holes on the first and last mount and some super glue.
