Easy rust effect on Stug tail pipes and TARR

Post by tao »

Not even sure if all the parts went back exactly after tearing so much apart and putting it back.. but for easy rust effects I mention again modern masters iron paint.. it's really easy to use it really rusts and fun to control the level of rust or effects. No room for acoustic but Tarr works nicely. I like to put a little voltage regulator to keep voltage steady but also to tweak the level of smoke.

Funny this was one of my first tanks and I really at that point was messing around trying to try something and broke the rear parts off and just guessed where they went back after it sat for a long time. Then I got another tank and another and really started to pay attention more..but not knowing what a part is actually FOR can result in all sorts of errors! :) That is why I also tip my hat to so many guys on this forum who can quickly a determine tanks model, year and all sorts of details at a glance!!
