The black steel boxes for the challenger/Pershing should fit a Bulldog...they're on eBay, or contact Forgebear on here...
remember...it's just a plastic tank... :/

Kevin, Ben, Welcome to the Forum,
First the bad news, You are discovering what I fear most of us already know, there is very little available in upgrades for the Bulldog BUT the good news, well it is if you have access to lots of money, is that if you wanted, you could easily build a squadron of Tigers out of just the upgrades on the market.
If you have not already looked I would advise you to visit the BLACKLIST, You will find it by looking at the menu (Click on FORUM) and scrolling down, there are too many names, some of them are well known, AVOID THEM !!!
Then we have the RECOMMENDED VENDORS Site, And we buy from these people, no harm will come to your temper or your pocketbook if you do the same.
I am sure you will have questions, Please feel free to ask about anything concerning the hobby, We have members from all across the world willing to share their knowledge. B| B|
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Re the Bulldog, the good news is that you can make it into a very presentable model without spending much money. If you are going to buy new gearboxes get the black steel Jagdpanther low profile ones, not the ones that are currently fitted which are the high mounted motor version. There is a reason for this.

The Jagdpanther ones have a long driveshaft, which is what the Bulldog needs, and being low profile it means that you can lower the upper hull to remove the huge gap along the top of the tracks. You simply take 2mm off the top edge of the Bulldog lower hull, and 2mm off the screw mounts in the upper hull.

All of the other mods that you can do are free, you don't need to buy anything at all.

The drivers periscopes can be lowered.
All of the turret roof mods can be done.
The tool rack can be lowered.
The exhausts can be modified.
If you go the IR route you can cut the plastic barrel off and use the alloy insert to make a more scale barrel. If you want to spend money you can buy a scale alloy barrel.

If you want to spend lots of money you buy metal wheels and suspension, sprockets or tracks:

The Bulldog is one of the best runners in the HL stable, and great for battling as it is very maneouverable.

I did a how-to that you may find useful, and I currently have another on my workbench that someone has given me to do the same way. They are great tanks.
