Scotland

Post by Spartan tracks »

Well after a really crap start to the year,my wife has taken me to a tiny little place in Scotland called Kielan on the far north west coast where the only life seems to be seals and sea otters and the odd white tailed eagle, It is a whole different world compleatly silent .
When we arrive back next week I will be going to see a leading spinal consultant to see if he can get this the use of my leg back.
Meantime I'm resting my leg anyway due to the 3 fractures but at the same time also looking forward to getting back to my work shop.
kInd regards to you all Andy

Mate, outside of your current injury worries, I would trade that for anything.................
2 teenagers, and 2 under 4's................. :/ :problem:

Sounds a lot like my home spot in New Zealand.

Rest up, thank your thoughtful Mrs, and take it while you can

Hope you get well rested Andy. Your current location sounds like the sort of place I would relish. I am quite envious. :{

Andy ,We spent an idyllic week in and around Kinlochbirvie
Our two girls had clubbed together and bought a second hand car and ran with us,
I mention this because it was a very second hand LADA 1200,
I admit my doubts changed to surprise when it not only got there but back home too, :O
While we were there we fitted in some walks to Sandy Bay,
I have seen and been to some wonderful beaches over the years and Sandy bay is as good as any of them and with the Gulf Stream lapping against the sand the water was as pleasant to bathe in as the sea in waters much further south,
It helps when the people we met were so outgoing,
I have no idea why we have not been back but I am pleased you are getting a decent break,
Take care.
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
