Looks great! I like that you kept it realistic and didn't put rust and peeling paint all over it as a T-34 wouldn't have lived long enough to get covered in rust and peeling paint. :haha: Very, very nice! :thumbup:

Wow, real good example, love the thinning colour with steel showing through :thumbup:

Thank you so much chaps. I was very nervous about showing my first effort on a forum full of fabulous models and many years of experience. My confidence has just reached a high!

Absolutely, those bare-metal highlights look great. Is that touched up over the paintwork with pencil or paint, or did you go for something like hairspray chipping?

Thank you for your kind comments, they have boosted my confidence. There is no trickery or special techniques at all as I don't know how to do any yet. I sprayed the whole tank with black car primer, then with Tamiya NATO green as that was the nearest I could find to 'Russian Green', then had my first attempt at dry brushing with Tamiya silver.
It just seemed to come to life in front of my eyes. Image
