GreenGiant,
That's one strong paperclip! This metal tractor is _heavy_ ;o) I will have to do the same so I can display it with the blade lifted at times. I love the shiny red it came in but Olive Drab with Army markings are called for. ( It was your excellent dioramas that gave me the idea for a tank village to run and display my armor in. ;o)
regards,
Painless

Worked on the 251's front suspension last night, almost done that part. Next, fitting electronics!

It's not under the truck yet. All I did was mount the wheels and tires to the hubs, that assembly to the spindles, and then to the axle. Also for the spring and arm assembly mounted to the axle. Need to make the steering link and mount the servo. But before I can mount it in the truck I have to redo the tracks suspension, still don't like the way they turned out.
Once I get the suspension sorted I'll put up plenty pics.

Good morning,
Received another piece of the equipment which will be useful for the tank village this summer. Honestly, when I first noticed this line of vehicles for sale, I thought they were over priced for what they are. Having finally bought one, I can say that I stand corrected on this issue. They really are worth every red cent. If you can locate one on sale, buy it now! *chuckles*

Oil drums would be a nice piece to make a mold of and cast in resin to build up a small fuel depot scene for your village scene.

Just thought of why the guy refunded you so much because the canvas top was missing.
The missile jeep in its complete form came with a cloth (canvas) cover made to fit over the missile tubes. Out of the three I have only one came with the cover. It looked like the original box had never been opened except for the seller to take pictures.
