I ordered some of those last nite,they look really nice in the pics,i also liked the armor upgrade for the chally 2 ,armor upgrade kits are very interesting to me and im sure others as well.that being said an armour upgrade package for the tamiya leopard to convert it to its newer varients would be most likely a product that would be in demand,thank you.

Titan, if you can swing it a full blown video review would be the kind, my man. I'm very, very interested in these and I can't wait to hear your thoughts, especially as to how hard you think they'd be to make yourself, how strong they are, will they take the weight of metal links, etc, etc.

You can have parts printed in almost any material by Shapeways, the vendor has only shown the frosted detail material price, but if you messaged him he should be able to add aluminium to the tariff, though they will cost more. I know from parts that I have put on there that the absolute lions share of the cost is retained by Shapeways, the vendor only makes a very small profit, if any, so he certainly isn't getting rich at those prices. The time it takes to design and print parts makes buying someone else's hard work very appealing at times (I currently have a printer 31 minutes into a 10 hour print of a Bueffel dozer blade...you can add a few hours of design time to that). They look very well done, and even in plastic they will be more than able to cope with the weight of tracks etc.

I would be interested to know what the price would be in metal, I bet it's still cheaper than the Schumo alternatives

I think that if the 3 part engine covers for the Tiger 1 were made there would be a fair sized market,
The Hinges for them are already on "Shapeways"
I should love to be able to open the engine bay of a Tiger 1.
