Just the kind of project I like to get involved in. Stupid ocean!!

But if you're going to do the work to rewire everything I definitely would NOT get an RX-18. Even on a tight budget you're better off to go with the Taigen/Torro 2.4 GHz. That's why i say "stupid ocean", because I sell those sets (gently used) for $45 USD (about 30 quid) but shipping it across the big water costs about twice that much!!

You might want to buy an antenna to fit that 'Small Brass peg at the rear' . :)

sent for some spares from TANKARMY.COM.AU arrived in 10 days not bad service p&p a bit steep, but coming from australia to be expected.
