OK, I realise this is a little like an American asking any Brit a similar question (I do happen to live in London but I appreciate that many don't)...
... But the family are descending on New York tomorrow for a week and I was wondering if anyone knows any KILLER model shops?
We are staying in Manhatten by the way...
It would be nice to think I will be a little closer to some of my breathren here on the site - but given where some of you live - and size of the good old U S of A - I suspect I'll be further away!
New York, New York! Any good model shops?

Spent practically the entire summer last year in the Upper East Side. Bike around quite a bit too, but I didn't find any decent hobby stores on the island. Yes there are some.tanks_for_the_memory wrote:OK, I realise this is a little like an American asking any Brit a similar question (I do happen to live in London but I appreciate that many don't)...

The stay did get me into model yacht sailing in central park - it was a great way to meet some interesting people!
