Looking really good John. I'm watching this build thread with avid interest since I haven't quite made up my mind on what to do with my HL PzKw IV. (I've been revamping my Bandai 1/15th scale PzKW IV instead!). Your work on the mantlet looks great.

Thanks Chris,

I had the bandai PzIV in the early nineties. Fitted it with servo based rc. It was a tough beast,
could tackle almost anything.

Re. PzIV

Progress is going nice and steady, the gun mantlet mod was a bit of a nightmare though. I had to scratch
build a mounting block for the gun barrel and pivot points for elevation/depression. I'll post some pics
of the internals when I've got the elevation/depression working.

I ordered the scale screws for the turret roof last night and the scale rommelkist. I've had the
mr.surfacer out this morning, was quite easy to do ( followed advice from Oz ). Not much point
posting pics of the results though as my camera wouldn't pick it up.

Still got loads to do, but I'll get there eventually.

Hi All,

My PzIV is almost complete, need to add the tools, a couple of figures and do some final weathering.
Oh, did I mention I've decided to send it to the Eastern Front? Here's some pics.

Cheers

I bet the crew were really chuffed about the change of campaign theatre John!

Seriously though, You've done a great job on that PzKw IV. It makes me feel cold and shivery just to look at it.

Can't wait to see in 'in the metal'

Cheers

Really first class work John. Must get my PzIV started soon. I particularly like the tank commander - did you add the cold weather gear yourself?

Thanks for the comments lads.  ;D

Chris, yep, thats the HL commander with a milliput parka. It's not up to Rel's standard but I'm happy with it.

Cliff, it's the usual story, would like the radio antennae to work like the real thing, it needs a driver, might look better with some damage to the fenders, oh god, here we go again...... ;) ;D ;D ;D

Cheers
