Surprised you sold your tamiya Pershing sounds!
Whilst the sounds were right it's not compatible with the servo elevation and recoil, so seemed sensible to sell and get the ibu

Seeing as someone gave me a Mato Sherman lower hull, the M36B1 was the only tank that I could imagine being able to make out of it. A million thanks for all of those pics, at least I now know what the turret looks like from all angles.

She looks really good, hope you got a good deal on her!

Yeah, t-74 and t49. Both with or without duckbills.

I usually avoid Metal Tank bodies because they can be a pig to work on, but this is so good that apart from the paint and weathering the body doesn't seem to need any work,
I hope they widen their range to include some more old favourites at an affordable price,
But that does look sweet Tom.
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Now if HL & Mato would only talk to each other? I was in a conversation with the UK HL guy a couple of days ago, and he was asking what HL should build next. He was looking at a Chieftain or a Centurion. I suggested that the Centurion would have more appeal internationally. However I also raised the question as to why HL don't make more use of their existing lower hulls and simply make variants of existing models. I mentioned the M36B1 turret to him, it would be as cheap as chips to make and the rest of the HL Sherman is already there.

Now that Mato have made one, perhaps HL will see the light?? :/
