Spend the 20 ...you know you want tooYou had a great idea for sure, and I will get to trying it........................or, I could spend $20 and get a perfect one from Germany![]()
I just want to cover the existing one so its a battery-on indicator & thats it.
Once I get the blister-pack trials going I will report the results![]()

Yep...ordering anything from anywhere can really put a dull edge to any build...at least you have two decent outlets to go to...here we pretty much have nothing...the sadder part is the one RC shop that does exist..just won't bring in any tank stuffAs for the $20, that would be ideal, but a bit late. As long as the light is better than it is now, and thats not a huge leap !, and it reminds me the switch is on, I'm happy.
Plus, my recent run of overseas parts supply has put me off a bit.
I do happen to have a good stock of Panther Night Fighting hardware..................over $100 bucks worth that I really wont ever use, so a less than perfect light will have to do.
I reckon your idea will work, its a good one, all up to if I can pull it off.
