But still a small feature of your restoration I have found a little unusual and, if you will forgive me, it is this - the jacking block.
All the pictures and representations I have thus far observed show the straps that bind or reinforce the block to be at the far edges (vertical, as we look at it in place on the rear armour) and not somewhat inboard as you have depicted in your block. So I am just wondering, is there some reason for this or are there versions of the jacking block on a KT that had the straps so placed?
If I have indeed missed, as I surely must, the glaringly obvious then please feel free to castigate, as you see fit, this unworthy dog that I am.
