IBU2Pro connections to AR610 with Spektrum DX6i

IBU2Pro connections to AR610 with Spektrum DX6i

I am having trouble connecting my AR610 Receiver to IBU2 Pro board the 6 channels on the IBU board which one connect to the Throttle , aileron, elevator ,rudder only using the 4 Chanels for now
the tanks is a heng long Challenger 2 any help would be appreciated thanks

Hi You cant use the spectrum dx6i to control 6 channels because channels 5&6 are not full function channels on the spectrum radio . Ian sells a radio that controls all the channels and not to expensive.

I hate it when receivers have names and not numbers !!!

So try this typically (apart from planet radios)

Steering is 1 channel
Throttle is 2nd channel

So hopefully your descriptions should have steering, then throttle, etc

normally (depending on the radio mode)

IBU1 - rx 2
IBU2 - rx 1
3 -3
4-4
5-5
6-6

As you have a IBU2 Pro if you only connect first 4 channels turn off dip switch #6 otherwise you never start the engine

Many Thanks Tankbear i now have Tnk CH1 to Rudder on receiver
Tnk CH2 to Throttle on receiver
Tnk Ch3 to Elevator on receiver
Tnk Ch 4 to Aileron on Receiver
Tnk CH 5 6 off
all works reasonable well except no reverse on Throttle

Make sure the throttle stick is in the centre and re-do the radio to IBU2 configurations.

Once again many Thanks al now ok turret work in reverse I can change that on the Transmitter
Do you belong to the Manchester Tank Club if so Ill see you there Sunday ?

Channel 1 = Throttle
Channel 2 = Rudder
Channel 3 = Elev
Channel 4 = Aile
Channel 5 = Gear
Channel 6 = Aux 1

UPS have it scheduled for tomorrow delivery so will be posting the orders out Saturday and bringing along Sunday for you and Charles.
