Bristol Armoured Division. Sun 13th March. Pics up!

Post by TKcommander »

Bristol Armoured Division

Sunday 13th March. Scout Hut Meet at Templecombe.

viewtopic.php?f=198&t=14381&start=40

Doors open 10am - 4pm, Templecombe is about 40 mins south of Bristol, in the glorious South Somerset countryside near the North Dorset border.
The cost of the hall hire will be split between attendees, so £30 divided by tank commanders.

Anyone who would like to attend will be made very welcome, so if you are wondering whether to or not, just do it, lots of scenery, and plenty of tables, the hall is carpeted and great for running tanks. Battles and chatting about the hobby with other like minded souls.
It's nice and warm, lots of heaters. :{
Tea/Coffee facilities - if Rob remembers to bring some and I don't forget the milk.
Bring your own sandwiches, we aren't that generous! :P
Toilets.
Lots of Parking.

Scout Hut,
School Lane,
Templecombe,
BA8 0HP

Directions from the North:

Templecombe is south of Shepton Mallet.
Just stay on the road past the showground and keep going, you will see it signposted eventually.
When you enter the village you will go through traffic calming and then see a railway bridge over the road.
Just before the railway bridge turn left.
20 yards and turn left where it says Village Hall.
20 yards and you will see a car park with a building in front of you.
Down the left side of that building is a short track.
We are down there, you can't miss the hut as you will be in the middlle of a field if do!

Only one rule, well two really...

1. No bb's, we either run tanks or battle using standard IR (eg not the HL version).
2. Bring a sense of humour and common sense.

See you there!

Andy

We shall miss your fleet. Most important thing is for you to literally get back on your feet. I wish you a speedy resolution to your problem and look forward to the April meet.

I second that, no need for apologies, we are only too well aware of the challenges you are facing. Just look after yourself, and when you are back on your feet you can get back into the groove. Hope it all goes well for you, and hope to see you again soon.
