M10 TD

Post by Boris Plotnikoff »

Hi,

When I was young in 1944, I've left the liberation of Gex and I wanted to make this tank :

Here, is my M10 TD finished :

It is made on the lower hull of a Heng Long Sherman, the top deck and the turret are made of plastic card board.

Next time, I will send some details of the construction.

Best regards.

Hi,

just a precision about the Duguésclin M10 TD tank :

it has been a tank from :

1e Armée Française ( Général de Lattre de Tassigny )

3e Division d'Infanterie Algérienne ( Général Guillaume )

7e Régiment de Chasseurs d'Afrique ( colonel Van Hecke )

4e Escadron ( Capitaine Guth )

4e Peloton ( Lieutenant René )

US registration : 432637

This tank has been hit and destroyed September 11 1944 at Villars sous Ecot ( 3 dead, 2 wounded men ).
