king tiger
that's how she looked before I started and I decided to go for a winter look after how well the stug turned out

Very interesting take on the winter camo theme, although it looks a little as if it's been fighting in a coal mining district. The ones I've seen in the flesh..so to speak..often sport little or no zimmerit on the turret, like the example in this photo:
Then there's the one from Dec '44, Battle of the Bulge:
But then, of course there were others with a layer on the turret...but with hints of dunkelgelb green and brown showing though the whitewash. Not, in these B/W pix, of course..but in reality. Nice tank there, and I add the photos just for interests sake! There are many more at:-
