Spain/Portugal via Bovington!

Post by AlwynTurner »

Well next week we are setting sail for the hols on Brittany Ferries from Portsmouth, and I suddenly realised that what wasn't very far from Portsmouth was Bovington Tank Museum. Hmmm, so I persuaded herself that it would be a good idea to go a day early in case there were delays on the road ;) ;) and there was a really good ACSI campsite at a place called Wool close to Portsmouth (which happens to be a 30 minute walk from the museum). So selling job complete and deal closed, we are leaving a day early and I will get at least half a day at Bovington!!

Will try and keep up with thing on the forum while I'm away but WIFI is a bit slow and expensive in Spain and Portugal so no promises.

See yo in a couple of months
Alwyn :thumbup: :wave: :wave:

Have fun, don't forget to write, and take LOTS and LOTs and LOTS of photos when you hit the museum!

Have a nice time Alwyn.

Don’t worry about us when away we can look after the forum, maybe the odd party or accident but should still be here on your return. :{

Hi Alwyn Have a great time ,take lots of photos at Bovington and save them on here before you cross the channel that way you will still have loads of room for holiday snaps for the boss.Also while at Bovington see if they have some drawings for your next project.

Bon Voyage, Alwyn. I shall look forward to seeing the completion of your brace of scratchbuild models upon your return :thumbup:
