Revamped HL Commander

Post by wibblywobbly »

I thought I would see what I could do with an old Heng Long Bulldog Commander. Started this yesterday evening and finished it just now. Needs a slight touch up, and a coat of matt varnish, but he is now a British commander for the Chieftain.

That looks just great. I'm especially impressed by the arm. Excellent work. I redid this guy, but really just paint. I'm going to have to reposition some limbs, though, for that photo I want to recreate of the 312 Tiger.

Nice one, has anyone else turned their HL figures into something decent? They are free with the tank, so it makes sense to make the best of them.

Post your figure pics up and lets see what is out there.

These two are HL

but I think the guy on the S33 came out the best (for the Ol' Googly Eyes crowd).

I've found a little white tack in the palms helps them stay in place pretty well.
