G.L.A.D. Meet and Club's first Anniversary

Post by hawkeye3guns »

Hi all
The next meeting of the club has been booked for Sunday March 6th 2016, Also it's our Club's first Anniversary! Merle said she is organising a Cake, I carn't believe we have been going a year already. Must make sure I have a spare driver for this meet and the Bar is open. :haha:
This meeting also we have as Guest's Forgebear Tanks. Dave and Julie will be bringing a small selection of tanks (including the new Challenger II and its metal upgrades plus some spare parts for other tanks.
Dave has said if there is a particular spare or upgrade you need please contact him and he will bring it along to the meet.
For anyone who is visiting us for the first time we can be found at the Great Gonerby Social Club, 8 High Street, Great Gonerby, Grantham, Lincs, NG31 8JP doors open at 10.00am until 16.30pm.
We meet in the main hall of the club and have all the clubs facility's to use ie. Toilets, Tea and Coffee (and a pint in you want it, makes the tank driving more fun ). there is ample parking and a pub nearby (25m) does Sunday lunches or a small spar shop that does sandwiches and chocolate ect, if you want to bring you wife/partner for a day out and meet the gang.
The Great Gonerby Social Club has recently bought new Tables and so has requested that we take care not to scratch the tops with the Tank tracks and so if you could bring a old towel or cover to place your tanks on it would be appreciated.
Looking forward to seeing you all there
Denzil

Excellent. Have to go visit the outlaws so unless there's loads of snow I'll be there at some point.

Cant make this month, going camping all weekend.

It's been a really good first year. This is one of the best hobbies I've got into and the club brings together some of the best people to share it with. Lets hope for many more years to come :)
