Kv1 helg long exhaust hole?

I'm modifying my kv1. Fitting the smoker to the correct exhausts on the hull deck rather than at the back. Was about to fill the hole in the back but checking some images, that's a part of the real tank. What was the huge hole for?

Hello Mike...that "hole" you speak of is where the tail light would go

Yup...you could make a Bezel for it...I didn't figured you can't see it once you paint it ....I just pulled the "fire" warning light out and stuck it in there instead lol...now when I fire the gun..it looks like the driver hits the break

But others have wired it independent...the new RX has a port for the rear light

I will glue gun an LED in an then glue red film on the outside. Paint the film so it looks like it has the metal bit across the middle.
