Seems that the side sponsons are detachable and also constitute the power units.

Got to love the press, lol. References to the Transformers and promises of a shape shifting robot, when the reality is a tracked platform that can have different things bolted onto it. Reminds me of the company that sells what appear to be £10 Ebay helicopters to the MOD, fiited with spy cams (£5) that troops can carry in their pockets and use to see over walls etc. They charge an absolute fortune for this 'technology'.
I went for an interview at the MOD once, they needed someone to reduce costs (well, what a surprise). The guys interviewing me told me straight out that if I thought I had any ideas about introducing new ways of doing things that would save them money then I was clean out of luck. lolol.
On the way out there was a 'fresh out of Uni' graduate looking really nervous. He asked me how the interview went. I told him that the questions weren't too bad but I thought the unarmed combat was a bit tough as there was two of them, and only one of me. He went as white as a sheet, and the receptionist almost choked on her coffee! :haha:

It does leave you wondering, if they are in the market for something like this why aren't they talking to "Armourtek" or half a dozen other builders in the field(!) instead of spending billions of the taxpayers hard earned on reinventing the wheel (Track) ?
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
