Ah, but didn't women get all the best contraptions...and those Pathe news clips, they used to run in the Cinema when I was a kid....they seemed 'normal' then, and quaintly bizarre now. In fact, I've just bought a boxset of them..
but just to show that the girls didn't get it al their own way..there was Woody :D :
