Reading through the installation instructions it makes note that "motors much be suppressed" I understand what that means.
My questions is; are the motors in the Ultimate II G/B set suppressed internally as they are not externally? Just want to make sure to get some caps to suppress them before time to install board.
Thanks,
Barry

Hey Barry,
I don't think any of the motors are internally "surpressed". Maybe other experts can jump in, but I think you will need to "cap" it externally if you so choose to. I never did understand the importance of putting caps on motor leads, I think it is suppose to filter out noise generated by the motor core in brush motors ?

motors can be internally surpressed, although with out the motor data/instruction sheet it's not possible to comfirm with out taking apart.

Can you peek thru openings to see ? Also, what is the effect of not suppressing motors ? Would it contribute to some of the "Ghost in the machine" effects with regards to interference and odd behaviours ?Tankbear wrote:motors can be internally surpressed, although with out the motor data/instruction sheet it's not possible to comfirm with out taking apart.
