I'm new to this hobby and started after seeing the amazing challenger 2 builds. Especially Scalawags which I will be replicating with my first ever build.
Only problem is I have no skill or experience with building models let alone tanks so this could be a very long and troublesome journey!

I'm new to tanking and have been out of modelling pretty much since my teenage years. I am now retired. Everyone here is so friendly and incredibly helpful, more than you can imagine. If you have any questions, someone will have an answer - possible more answers than you want! Remember, the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. BTW welcome to the madhouse

The first thing for you to do is make yourself familier with the Forum so scroll down and take in what is there and in your own time explore. BUT you MUST go to the "BLACKLIST" first, You will find far too many names that you recognise please AVOID them, we know these people are harmful to your pocketbook and your peace of mind because we have found out the hard way already.
After that go to the RECOMMENDED VENDORS site You can trust these people, We do!

Paul, I'll try to get to the next meeting of the SEAG in TW.
My chally 2 build is stalled waiting for bits from DKLM. So far all I've done is fit the axle supports to the inside of the hull.

Hi Paul,
I fitted mine to the inside of the hull cylinder support if that makes sense. I used the Abrams axle supports as I believe you did but turned them down to 28.2mm so they were a press fit in the hole in he hull. I noticed the inward tape of the hull but noticed the plastic axle support/cover didn't have this slope. I have photos so will post them if I can work out how.

PS when I say turned down I actually mean I used sandpaper, an 8mm bolt and a drill...
