Vallejo acrylic paint

Just got a skin tone bottle of the above and must say am hugely impressed with the results ! Seems i'm gonna have to re-paint all the troops- all 52 of them ! usely use the humbrol ones but i'm switching over. twice the price but twice the result ! Will post some pics soon but am currently building a new tiger 1 (supplied by Canned). just finished adding metal gunner/radio and driver hatches and metal led lights courtesy of adlav and michaelc. I saw a thread here where someone (Herman ?) added seating and turret inner detail so i'm gonna give that a go.

Question : does anyone have front fenders and rear mufguards they don't need and will sell ? Also still need a couple of gask mask containers plz ?

vallejo is the only brand I use now. I especially like their weathering kits and the airbrush color kits.

I've been using Vallejo because of the range of tones they offer, and a range of application types (airbrush, brush etc..). While the topcoat finishes seem durable and impressive, I've had to quit using their primer.
After several failed attempts to prime and paint
a Taigen based Tiger (Metal ed.) with Vallejo primer..where both primer and topcoat scratched easily, or simply peeled right off like skin from an orange..I moved to using Humbrol grey primer in a rattle tin. This proved to be the ideal keying base for a durable coat of Vallejo panzer colours. I followed all the correct procedures for prepping the tank, the number and density of layers, and drying times...but every time the Vallejo primer proved disastrous.

Been using Vallejo for about 8 years, amazing stuff, can even be brush painted and it flattens down well, really quick drying times too. Totally agree about their primer, it's like watered down milk and doesn't cover anything unless multiple coats are applied. I think it is more suited to small scale, high detail, models. I just use DIY store primer in a rattle can.
