While researching for a Fehrmann Tiger 05 build I want to do, found this tidy lot.

Serious Site Herman....Not my flavor though...many of the tanks look better suited for display ...or set on a diorama...with that said...from the model building aspect...the creations can be inspirational...It also lends insight into why and how Mr Hotte builds the way he does....but I like his tanks a lot better :D

WOW! Those are fantastic! I'd be afraid to take them out and run them with that level of fine detailing.

Both the General and you Jack raise an interesting point,
When you begin a build at what point do you decide whether you are going to super-detail a shelf queen or are you going to build for the want of a better word a "WORKING" Tank?
And if it will be "WORKING" do you deliberately toughen it up?

Yes indeed Wo1c ....Glad you said it and not I :haha: ...Upon viewing that site my first impression was the same as Jack's....as the idea of actually taken any out to run just seems impractical ...great for Museum type of viewing...but for actual play?.... :think:
