M.A.D BREAKING NEWS POSSIBLE NEW CLUB LOCATION AND HOME.

Post by The Tank Man »

Hi everyone well as the Manchester Armoured Divison RC tank club has been around for four year's .

Space at our club,s building has become tight!
Parking is and has been and is tight to say the least.

So we have been looking for a bigger building for some time.

We have been offered the use of a primary school in Longridge near Preston.
The headteacher of the school is one of our members and we have the backing of the school's governors and a test meeting will be held there for our Febuary meet.

Member's will get the chance to try out the school and a vote will be held at the school to decide if we move to the new location or stay at Hyde.

Here are some picture's of what we get plus there is parking for around 80 car's

We get to use the school hall and its playground for parking and running our tanks on.
Plus the use of the schools private field :D

Got to say that this looks good. Nowt to do with me, as I am only a visitor rather than a member, but the success of the MAD has been nothing short of amazing. You guys need a bigger battlefield, and the parking really is like sardines in a can. I always put it down to 'character', lol. The simple truth is that if you keep building on your success then the scout hut is going to get so crowded that you will never all fit in there.
