What's output from the charger?

If 1000mA it will put 1000mA into a battery in one hour so will take 5.3 hours.

What type of battery is it -ie NI-CAD--NI-MH-- LI-PO ?
I would recommend you spend a little extra and buy an "Intelligent Charger" These are pre-programmed for the above batteries and most certainly will not take 16 hours to charge,
Start by checking out "Hobby King"
shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

I agree with Shaun.

After your first tank, the next purchase should be a charger. No need to waste time and batteries with the wall units.

You and your batteries will be happier all around.
What, me worry?

Ditto. A good charger, or two or three, is a must. You can get them at Hobby king for twenty bucks that will charge both nimh and lipo and beep/flash at you when they're done. Takes way less time, too.
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!
