"Gorilla glue would work, but that's like using a sledgehammer to drive a tack. Titebond or one of those wookworking PVA would be fine and waterproof, but again, just Future would do well too or an acrylic bindere from Michaels, etc. Even the pigment fixative from Mig or Ammo would be fine."
Plain old Elmer's glue should be fine, but Titebond is probably better.

Tried different glues and found gorilla glue , in a small puddle with a pair of tweezers to hold the leaves whilst dipping them gave good results . The glue takes quite a long time to harden in a small puddle whilst it hardens quickly when in contact with the branch ( you know all this I suppose)
