Modern .50 cal ammo box

Post by Rocketman »

Right, im off casting stuff again. Im about to start on my Abrams and theres bugger all out there to pack it out so im going to make my own.

I need someone who knows there stuff to find me the right type of .50 cal ammo box to cast up please. I dont want to spend hours scratching up the wrong sort.

I have already got lots of bedding and tarps rolls and US modern back packs in my resin sets so im thinking the set would include a spare wheel, spare drive sprocket outer, .50 cal boxes.

Anything else you can think of?

WW2 sets are ready ill post up pics later

Hiya

Yep that's the plan. Just need to knock the masters and moulds together. I'm.thinking ill do a crate of water bottles, if i do them in clear resin all you need do is paint the caps and cardboard lower case. Think that will do?

Here's the WW2 set, I'm going to use the large bedding rolls on my Abrams as they are generic enough I think.Image

For mineral water, depends on where they operate. It's possibly usually locally sourced, so the branding would change. Bottle shapes as well, but standard bottles would probably be around 1L to 2L plastic bottles, blue or clear.
