Outstanding job Grompix,

I believe there is a thread of yours that describes in great detail with regards to parts/soldering,.how you hide the TBU battle units.

Would it be possible to post the link as I am unable to locate it.

Thanks.

Thanks for that Grompix, what an excellent write up of your installations.

Have you ever thought of siting down and incorporating all your builds battle systems/concealments, painting, and upgrades into a book. I don't want to sound patronizing, but you would have a sure fire HIT (If you pardon the pun) best seller. There are no quality books out there, If any at all on this subject of  RC 1/16 scale AFVs and I'm sure there would be a great demand for it.

Just think, the royalties would pay for all your future projects. You should do it!!.

Wow! Thanks Guys!  :O :O

I'm VERY flattered by your sentiments but honestly my stuff is nothing special. Like most of us here I get my ideas and skills from this and other modelling communities. I wouldn't be able to do half the things I have without reference to the outstanding work you guys do. No man is an island - especially in the RC Tank building world LOL!

Seriously though, a book for RC Tankers is a very good idea - but I think it would have to include articles from the whole community - certainly not just me!

Just a thought though...
It would be comparatively easy to compile a nicely presented PDF file of all our best hints, tips, builds, faqs etc in this forum and make it available as a download to members (with acknowlegements to the authors of course). Or - even charge a small fee to download. Funds to go to our 16th IRAD?

Maybe worth pursuing?

Cheers

Hi Chris Outstanding build yet another way to hide battle unit Love It, (we should start a ban the apple club). As for the book its a good idea if you could get guys to contirbute there stuff ,legaly speaking I think you would have to ask them dont no if copyright laws would apply to any thing published without permission. you could use any of my stuff if you wished ,would be good for the club to have a referance book that could be down loaded for a contribution to the club funds, you could put links in to other sites like Panzerketten of a build without permission this is information that is in the public domain so it will not infringe copyright .

Just because something's in the public domain doesn't mean you can profit from it.
