Re: Tiger or king tiger
There's one here in this forum for around £300
Re: Tiger or king tiger
Greetings 51.....this place was noted to me by a fellow member....He still pops in once and awhile...but seems to be busy currently ...his tag is Horses45...I'm sure if he were here he could help you out more with the details of acquiring parts from these people...They come highly recommended by him51st highland wrote:ALPHA I do want a full metal turret
Their name is TORROSHOP
Here are two listings for the complete model
https://www.torro-shop.de/en/rc-tank/rc ... color?c=58
painted
https://www.torro-shop.de/en/rc-tank/rc ... inted?c=58
and unpainted
If I remember correctly...he was able to get parts by contacting the store

You might also want to browse through this build by Hotte....a fantastic builder / fabricator
viewtopic.php?f=23&t=10690&hilit=hotte
you don't "need" to follow his build to the degree he has gone...but there is some really good info on how to reinforce the hull for that metal turret

The metal turret can be bought separate, so if cost was an issue you could get the one you linked and then get the turret later. This is what I did but I found the metal turret too heavy so I went with a plastic Henchel turret instead. Still have my metal one juuuuust in case I ever want my tank to gain a couple more pounds.

Yes it was a Taigen Porsche turret all metal tank that I bought locally. The turret I got from Erik at IMEX tanks here in the states. I'll see if there's a link I can post for you, please stand by.......51st highland wrote:Was the tank you got taigen and can you give me a link to the turret please

Well IMEX appears to be out of them at the moment but I did find you this...... https://www.torro-shop.de/en/militaery- ... ystem?c=45
Now if that's too expensive I'd recommend contacting Forgebear (Dave) via PM and ask him to get you one, he's who I bought my plastic version Henchel turret from, took a few weeks...maybe a month to get it but it works perfectly.
I bought my KT as a factory rebuild for like $200 or $250 don't really remember but I figured for an all metal Taigen KT even if it had the wrong turret I couldn't pass it up!
