I deviated from my build plan a bit on this. While waiting for parts/time to fab up the 90mm turret, I picked up a Mato 76 turret from Forgebear.

It wasn't a quick swap as I had hoped. The first issue was rewiring the plugs for the Taigen daughter board.

The second difference is the elevation unit. The Mato one would not cycle the gun up and down. It would just stop.

Turns out they did this.

Can't cycle all the way when you put a bump stop in there... Yeah, it got cut out.

Next "problem" is that the Mato trigger switch operates exactly opposite that HL/Taigen's does. But, it's too late in the evening so I'll just not have cannon sounds. This wont be this tank's main turret anyway.

Well after many a tear down, I give you my M4A3 76!

Oh, and about the only problem I've found with the Taigen M4 upper hull, is that the barbet is too deep. I have to use long screws to attach the different turrets.

Made a little more progress. I cut the turret down to a more correct height.

There's still a little cleanup to do.
