Noob saying hello....

Post by Sirdubalot »

I've just registered on the site so I thought I'd say a quick hello,

My name is Willy and I'm completely new to this hobby I have just purchased a couple of 1/16 scale tanks a Sherman and a leopard, I'm going to do some modelling on the leopard first I'd like to change it completely perhaps, but firstly I need to understand what all the different schemes are, then choose a design for it. They both seem to run ok however I don't really know what bad running would be like.

Well hello to everyone and any advice on the Leopard would be very much appreciated.

Regards.

I'm fairly new here myself. People are very friendly and helpful. If you either use the search facility or just browse through the various threads, you will find mountains of information about rebuilding a Leopard or Sherman. If you can't find what you are looking for, just post a question. someone will know the answer. It would be good to know more about the tanks you have - make, specification etc. Also, what part of the world you are from - always useful if parts are required.

Hello there, the tanks are both Heng Long, I'll try to attach some images for people to have a look at. I have recently left the forces so have a bit more time now to indulge in hobbies, I live close to Oswestry in Shropshire.

Many thanks for your post and advice.
