M10 Tank Destroyer

Post by Boris Plotnikoff »

Hi,

When I was young in end of August of 1944, I've left the liberation of Gex in south of Jura and I wanted to make this tank :

Here, is my M10 TD finished :

Good afternoon!
Well done! Mato will have to hope that the one that they are bringing to market is even a quarter as good as this. Again, Well Done!

Really fantastic work. Love the gun details and the entire build. Congrats. Would love to see some video of it if you ever get any of it in action.

Hi,

as I've said yesterday, I post some pictures of the construction of my M10 TD :

All the upper hull and turret are made of 2mm thick plastic card. The base of turret and the gun are made from an H.L. Pantatiger.

I've changed the H.L. elevation device for a simple servomotor without pot.

When I've changed the H.L. breech for the true one, I've modified the gun elevation system, now, located under the turret :

I hope that pictures shows suffisantly clearly the steps of the construction and gives ideas for other constuctors !
