Ok I've now found some on eBay , can anyone suggest what ones would be suitable for Normandy, where it's almost hard to find a German tank picture without tree camoflage. Also it's hard to scale what size is suitable as these are ment for model railways . Thanks jackalope for your suggestion they look great but I was hoping to get them a bit more local

I can't imagine that a model rail road shop near you doesn't carry this stuff.

Model railroad stuff is gonna be a little small, even with trees. If I were you I'd try searching for stuff made for 1/12 doll houses. That may be too big, but it will be harder to notice.

Hello Bluelion,

If you don't mind making your own tree branch armatures or maybe using some real small twigs the best foliage that I have found to date is from a US company ( I think ) called MININATUR. There is a company in the UK which stock this , WWW.modeldisplayproducts.co.uk , they are not very big packs so you may need a couple to complete the job. They come in different colours and variations and they look very realistic , I'm sure you'll find something to suit, HTH

And Ausf (Jeff) at RCU makes these very cool leaves in scale for the tanks. I've been thinking of trying those in a camo net to see how they look, but I'm still in "spend-no-money-mode" until I get my buddy the cat sorted out.

Thanks gentlemen for the advice , tried the model railway shop ... The one near me does not do anything that good . .. Got some lichen though .... Point taken about collecting stuff I walked the dogs today and picked up some suitable stuff that looked like 1/16 scale ... Can't get the leaves though...... May try to grow a bonsai plant ...
