First RC Tank on its way

Post by Davetwin »

Hi all

I've been after a Tamiya RC King Tiger for a couple of years now but was not prepared to pay the price as thought they were stupid money, just my opinion.

It looks as if my patience has paid off as I have just been offered a brand new unbuilt full option one for £255 with new radio gear, battery and charger. As you can imagine I've snapped up the offer.

I have ordered some etch engine grills, Schumo hexagon screw set for chassis, tow cable shackles, exhaust covers and 3:1 reduction rear. That should keep me going for a while. I'm not really looking into getting into battling but being a Moddelling I will be doing a full paint job.

Though I would join up and have a look around to see what tips I can get

Cheers
