I got a lot of pictures and a resin 1/35 kit of the enforcer ...and I am heading to the 2008 TES with a slight difference ...and any extra pics are fantastic ,.,,, as I also have a second build I am also gathering information for .. I think u will know what I am talking about if a say .." Battlestar " ...

Great that you have the Cromwell kit that I have said on Armorama. The master was sold to Terry of cast off but I have not spoken to Terry for over a year now. Have you seen my full build on this in 1/72? Its a small scale but packed with details.

I would like to see you do the CrARRV.....?"Battlestar"

Hi all

Tis Wednesday ..had some build time today
so coffee pot on ..TV on ..with the complete series of babylon 5 to watch while measuring
...measuring again cutting and glueing ...it really is amazing home much one can get done
when the house is quiet ...

I've noticed just how many variations there with this TES armour upgrades there are .
,it seems no two challengers are the same ...which forms a modellers point of view is great
but a nightmare if your building one specific tank ...so for now I am doing a fairly generic
chally 2 TES ...

Any way pics ....

Looking good Ian. There are a few variation to the TES upgrade depends on the year it served. The earliest would be around 2008. It carry a smaller size hull armour plus an extension armour on the bottom as compared to the later version with a thicker hull armour and also an added thinner section on the bottom to almost covering the road wheels same as the 2008 version. You can see on my build log at Armorama on my 1/72 TES 2008 scrathbuild. All the details you need to do for that specific version is on my build including the Barracuda netting and thermal blanket. I have also posted a couple of pics here on the tanks static model thread.

One thing I notice is you have placed a triangular details on the turret armour. This signifies an INERT armour and not active. If you want to depict the one that served in combat then you have to take this out, if you want to depict the early "training" version prior to combat deployment and located in UK on its eraliest phase then thats fine.

Feel free to PM me with regards to the 2008 TES upgrades if you want some clarifications.

Thanks DNAR

Time to remove some triangles ..what a pain it took a while to get then all perfect ! ..law of sod me thinks
the lower armour extentions I will make up a bit later ..I am still trying to work out in how many sections the extentions are ... in one pic I have found it looks like each upper hull armour upgrade has one block fitted to each ...but other pics almost show it as a full length ...still don't really know for sure ?

Will pm later ...so many questions ..the barricuda and blanket is going to be a night mare ..but I have an idea ....?

A few more pics

Bar amour slowly coming together....it's not fitted in place as I need to assist a lot of other detail to the turret first .

Great progress, and the bar armour is looking great! What references are you using for your build?
