Paul,
I think I saw something similar for sale here in the US at the local HobbyTown before Christmas. That series was all in Nato camo and had a similar controller and were offered under either the Doyusha or VS brand. I gave the boxes a cursory look-see then because I've run the gamut of the smaller RC tanks in the past and have had little to no luck finding replacement tracks for them. Tech is advancing and I'll bet the tracks and bits on the newer series are much more durable. Those look like a lot of fun. ;o)
Happy New years!

Paul

I have seen these branded as Waltersons bantam weight battle tanks. There is also a leopard 2 version in camo colours.

I also have the tyosho pocket version from a few years ago. There was a abrams and challenger 1 version. They had no battle system and you could not control the turret.

I am definitely going to get me some of these. I will try to find a link to the leopard 2 version if you want to add to your collection.

Good thread, Paul, and thanks for the info. I've been watching these come along so it's great that someone I trust has some in case I need advice or info. Take a look at this and see if it's the same tank. This is branded Imex/Walterson, but we all know Torro and Imex have a relationship.

Tried the link- comes up page not found. A site search only reveals the three tanks above, no Japanese type 10

Imex may have some. I'd have to call Erik to be sure, does anyone need me to do that? This is their page for the Type 10
