Paint question

Just a thought Mark...you could try the dark base coat light top coat on a piece of paper first...see what the result is...also if you are going to do that...you can change the color of base coats and top coat with that light color till you get the shade you want ;)
That way you don't get a build up on your tank...and it won't be as messy :D

Is this the same Tiger you did the first time did a build ...or is this a new one? :shifty:

No Shame Brother ;) ...Since I've taken out my airbrush kit...I'm thinking of redoing all my tanks :crazy: ...So you should feel lucky you only have to one and one more to go :haha: :haha: ;)

Having seen it in the flesh very recently the 7008 is deceptive, because its neither green nor grey. It's a light, quite soft brown.

What I would say is test your colour out with filters. Something like the AK Africa corps filter will change the colour a great deal. The first coat is a building block for your later layers of colour. Have a look at Toms Africa Tiger, as he used similar colours.
