Another newbie for your ranks

Post by addi564 »

Hi everybody

Another newbie for your ranks

My name is Rob, I have been a tank nut forever so it was logical I joined an armoured unit in the army.

I am a fan of modern tanks and now heng long has done the Challenger 2 now is the time to get into RC modeling.

I did have a crack about 8 years ago with a tamiya leopard 2, which I built and painted but due to my lack of experience it has sat idle since. Not sure if I should keep this or of load it to somebody who can make it good.

Anyways I am really looking forward to doing up my Challenger more than anything and making it look like good

Welcome to the forum!

The leopard 2 is a fine tank, if a bit complicated. Definitely the hardest Tamiya to build and get running.

Persevere with it though, it rewards the day you start that engine!

Hi Brian, thanks

Hi Ad lav, the tamiya leopard is running, it just not detailed in anyway and has only the tamiya parts fitted
