different infrared tanks?

Post by Kookoocachoo »

I was wondering, if you had two completely different brand rc laser tanks, would they count hits on each other? Like if you had a cheap tiny tank and a big fancy one, both with different motherboards and everything but both laser. I would think they would work on eachother but not sure.

Hi The answer is No , the code they use is totally different, they don't fire a single light of I.R. at each other they fire a burst of code (almost the same as T.V. remotes do) each type of I.R. has its own code so they only work on same type tank. Most tanks used to battle in clubs have Tamiya standard code which means you fit a different board inside the Heng Long tanks and it will fight Tamiya tanks.
