Worked on the rotor shield (mantlet? - I hear there is an issue there). Also worked on fenders/under hangs and diffuser.

Tremendous work done so far. Mantlet looks tall but I am thinking scale elevation and declination so it is fine. Following along. ;o)

Your Bro threw that one in (a lesson for all of us) while everyone was discussing the two flaps on the rotor shield when I was doing my Sherman build....The rotor Shield wasn't available then(except in resin ..which was a tad small for the HL turret)...so I made one out of copper...those flaps became a point of discussion....and to this day... are still an enigma 
............... Yours is a Mantlet...on the old Sherman the front piece is the rotor shield...the part that mounts to the front of the turret behind the rotor shield is the Mantlet...Go Figure lol
